Academic Assistance

• GEOG 110 HELP SESSIONS:  The Geography Department provides help sessions for students enrolled in Geog 110 (Physical Geography).  This help is offered for 2 hrs. each week in Fraser 103. (Please contact the Geography Department office for times and dates.)

 
• GROUP REVIEW:  Group Review for specific courses is provided as deemed necessary by course instructors. (Please contact the professor of your course to determine whether review sessions will be offered.)

DISCIPLINE-SPECIFIC PRESENTATIONS:  The Geography Department offers an occasional lecture series, the Geographer’s World Seminar Series, visiting professional lecture events, Geography Club events, and field trips. (Please contact the Geography Department office for times and dates.)

Professional Assistance

PROGRAMS AND PRESENTATIONS:  The Geography Department offers professionally focused programs and presentations throughout the year.  Topics include graduate school applications, the graduate record exam (GRE), Careers Night, and job search procedures.
