During the 1987-1988 school year, the Alpha Delta sorority became
incorporated. The incorporation benefits the sorority by dealing
with liabilities. In Fall 1988, the first meeting of the board of
directors was held by that semester's Cabinet.
The Alpha Delta Epsilon Alumni Association exists to help the active
sisters in Geneseo. The alumni board manages matters pertaining
to alumni relations, and acts a governing branch for the active
sorority, if and when, needed.
The alumni board meets twice a year, and the board members try to
schedule the meeting dates to coincide with IGC's fall and spring
rush calendars.
The board of directors consists of 12 alumni-held positions, 3 active-held
positions, and 1 honorary alumni who graduates in May. The honorary
alumni does not have voting rights, but sits on the board to serve
as a liason between active sorority and the alumni board.
