In the 5-second video clip, a Thorium needle is placed in a cloud chamber.  Thorium is a natural emitter of alpha particles.  The alpha particles leave trails in the cloud chamber that indicate there trajectories in the chamber.  Occasionally cosmic rays from space pass through the cloud chamber and leave trails.  The video will loop through continuously.
