Dear lord, every time I revisit this website I want to completely redesign how it looks.
Anyway - some big things planned, provided I have time to implement them over the next few weeks. Regardless, audition updates and other useful info will appear here as soon as it's available. Hope everyone is having a good summer!

Our spring show, MTC: Robots In Disguise, is going up this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (April 3rd, 4th, and 5th)! It's in the Alice Austin Theatre at 8:00 PM, and it's 100%, completely free. It features a ton of very strong (and very funny) musical numbers, some fantastic skits, and much more - so come check it out!

Despite being in a bit of a time crunch for auditions, everything went really smoothly and we hope that everyone had a lot of fun. Thanks to everyone who tried out - we spent a long, long time deliberating; as always, there are far less open spots in the spring than there are in the fall. This was my fourth time doing auditions, and it was by far the hardest decision I felt I've had to make when looking at a new kid class. If your name does not appear below, we highly encourage you to try out next semester; as mentioned, it was not an easy process. We hope everyone had fun doing the audition dance and that you met some cool people. With that said, here is the Spring 2007 Ensemble(new members denoted by *):

That was a bit scary. Website's back up and working correctly, thank goodness. When Geneseo switched over to new servers, they reset some filepaths and didn't migrate over the hidden_html path I created - blah blah blah - anyway, some big-ish updates over the next few days. Stay tuned!

Whew, busy semester. Rehearsals have been going well and things are looking good for the show. For those of you who are curious, our fall show, MTC: Do You Have It? is November 15th, 16th, and 17th, at 8:00 PM, in the Alice Austin Theatre. It's totally, 100% free, and should be absolutely excellent. If you'd like to help with the show (perhaps ushering?) please contact us and let us know. Thank you!

Well, auditions have come and gone. A *huge* thank you to everyone who tried out - there were more great people than we had space for in the ensemble; everyone who tried out displayed an amazing amount of talent and the final decision was very difficult to make. Howdy - Dave again. I've been putting a ton of time into the website for the past few weeks, and it's nearly done. While I hope the design is attractive and useful to the majority of people, most of the work has gone into an online organizing system for club members which includes administrative accounts, a message board, in-depth number registration and statistics viewing, and, by far the most complicated part - an online number scheduler. I thought about trying to find things similar to these online, and then just tweaking them to suit the needs of the club, but I opted for the harder route and coded all of it myself, by hand. I just put all of the site code I've written into Word just for kicks, it came out to be over 70 pages... Sheesh... BTW, your formatting may be weird - that's one of the last things I'm working on: structure first, then aesthetics.
Anyway, enough of my rambling; I hope everyone is really excited about auditions - they're August 31st and September 1st, in the evening and morning respectively(I'll post exact times in the next day or two) - check out the Auditions section for more info. As always, e-mail me if you've got any questions :)

Hey everyone - Dave here - hope you're all having a good summer. I've been redesigning the site the past few days, and I'm really pleased with the new design - so much more functional and easier to modify than the old one. Additionally, I'm putting a lot time into the new registration system, and I really hope everyone likes it and makes use of it this coming semester.
Auditions will be held August 31st in the evening and September 1st in the morning; once I have more details I'll post them here as well as under the "Auditions" section of the site. If you're looking to find out more about MTC, check the about page, watch some of our videos on youtube, or get in touch with me - Dave Gordon - and I'll be happy to answer any questions you may have. Here's hoping we'll see you at auditions!
