1. Thing Film Targets: To support the accelerator-based experiments, we are fabricating self-supporting, thin film, deuterated poleyethylene targets. These are manufactured by evaporation of deuterated polymer in an evaluated bell jar. The 4-kA films are deposited on glass microscope slides coated with release agent. The polymer films are removed from the bell jar and then "floated" off from the slides onto targets.

2. 3He Implantation: To produce 3He targets, we are modifying a saddle field ion source to produce a beam of 20 keV 3He ions that will be implanted into cooled titanium substrates.

3. 1020 Array: We are working with scientists at the Laboratory for Laser Energetics to field a 1020-element array that will be used to measure secondary neutrons produced in inertial confinement fusion reactions.

4. CID Detector Development: In collaboration with other LLE researchers, we are investigating the utility of CID cameras to measure charged particles from ICF reactions. To test these devices, we will produce high energy protons using the Geneseo accelerator to determine the sensitivity of these devices.
