~ We WILL run the race if it is raining.
~ We will NOT run the race if there is thunder and/or lightning.
A decision will be made by race directors; we will delay the race up to 15 minutes for weather.
~ 3:30 – 4:45 at tent down at the track.
~ Shirts for first 200 – sizes on first come, first served basis
~ If you won a door prize, you will be notified at check-in and told where to pick it up.
~ 3:30 – 4:45 at the Track at the bottom of campus
~ Please bring exact change or a check – NO ONLINE REGISTRATION

~ Shirts on a first come, first served basis
~ Please check buildings on campus bathrooms will not be
provided/open specifically for this event.
~ Race volunteers will be wearing neon shirts, “Volunteer” on back
~ Race directors will be wearing neon shirts, “Director” on back
~ Please stay on sidewalks whenever possible
~ Be alert at all times – University Police will be stationed throughout, but
please watch for oncoming traffic when crossing roads.
~ Follow lead vehicle; volunteers & flags throughout the course will help direct you
~ If you are injured or become sick during the race, please stop and find a race volunteer
immediately. He/she will contact the director and someone will pick you up if needed.
~ Finish all the way through the finish line (banner & people waving)
-If you do not have a race bib, please DO NOT go through the chute
~ Continue moving through the entire chute so that it does not get backed up.
~ Race results will be posted ONLINE at www.geneseo.edu/5k as soon as possible.
~ Please do not approach timers, finish line workers or any other volunteer for times.
~ There will be no formal award ceremony, but feel free to hang around the for
food and music.
~ Individual awards will be given out as individuals cross the finish line
~ Team awards will be given out after results are posted (mailed to one team member)
