Residence Life is a department in the Division of Student and Campus Life at the State University of New York College at Geneseo.  Geneseo offers residential accommodations in seventeen different residence halls, ranging from the first-year centers of Onondaga and Jones to the upperclass housing of Allegany and Wyoming, to on-campus townhouses at Saratoga Terrace.

Important information for students matriculating in January 2010:

You should receive your housing assignment letter by January 8, 2010. 
If you paid a housing deposit, we will assign you to housing, whether or not we have received your preference request on the license agreement form.  The Residential License spells out your rights and responsibilities as a residential student.  Please familiarize yourself with this information.

    New students move in to campus on Thursday January 14, 2010, starting at 12:00 noon.
    Orientation is Friday January 15, 2010.
    Classes begin Tuesday January 19, 2010.

We will cultivate appreciation of our differences and similarities and foster the mutual respect and emotional well-being of our residents through the availability of cultural and social programming and activities.  


Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 4:15 pm
