Residence Life is a department in the Division of Student and Campus Life at the State University of New York College at Geneseo. Geneseo offers residential accommodations in seventeen different residence halls, ranging from the first-year centers of Onondaga and Jones to the upperclass housing of Allegany and Wyoming, to on-campus townhouses at Saratoga Terrace.

Important upcoming dates:
- Will you be new to Geneseo in January 2010? The Admissions Office (585 245-5571) will send you a letter directing you to their new student website. At the website, download and read the Residential License. To apply for housing, use either the downloadable paper or online "Residential License Agreement Form." Send this in to give Residence Life information to help us place you with a roommate.
At the Admissions new student website, you'll also find information on Orientation and necessary Medical Forms.
New students move in to campus on Thursday January 14, 2010, starting at 12:00 noon.
Orientation is Friday January 15, 2010.
Classes begin Tuesday January 19, 2010.

The department of Residence Life at SUNY Geneseo is committed to the personal and social development of students as responsible residents in a living and learning community. We will be proactive and responsive to students' needs.
We will cultivate appreciation of our differences and similarities and foster the mutual respect and emotional well-being of our residents through the availability of cultural and social programming and activities.
