What is your general area of specialty or interest?

I am interested in the development of psychopathology.

What are your specific research interests?

Specifically, I am investigating the links between child neglect and school performance, the effects of exposure to violence, and the impact of stress on individual functioning.

Would you be willing to work with students as assistants with your research projects at this time?

Yes.

If yes, how many?

The size of the entire lab is 10-15 students. Openings are dependant on the needs of specific projects.

Do you prefer to choose your research assistants yourself or are you willing to be approached by students?

I prefer students who have completed Research Methods (Psyc 251).
