Age-related changes in adolescents' academic motivation; Peer group effects on adolescents' academic behavior
What are your current active research projects?
I'm currently studying the self-presentation strategies adolescents use with their peers for impression management. I'm specifically interested in whether adolescents attempt to downplay their academic effort or accomplishments with their peers and whether those self-presentation strategies are related to their popularity.
Would you be willing to work with students as assistants with your research projects at this time?
Right now, I do not need any additional research assistants.

Students should feel free to approach me.
In what aspects of your research are student assistants involved (e.g. data collection, data analysis, hypothesis formation, literature reviews, writing)?
Students are involved in all aspects of my research.
Are there any special comments/instructions you would like interested students to know about you, your projects, or what you are looking for?
Ideally, students will be willing to work on the project for at least two semesters. I'm looking for students who are reliable and able to work well independently.
