About the Residential Network
ResNet is a common phrase used by many institutions to describe the network available to students that live in Residence Halls. Geneseo provides connection of one ResNet "port per pillow." Students' computers with a network card can connect to ResNet at no extra charge. You can call the CIT HelpDesk at 245-5588 for support questions or visit us in South Hall 225A.
SUNY Geneseo requires incoming freshmen or undergraduate students who expect to graduate with the class of 2011 or later to bring a notebook computer to Geneseo.
