Kodjo Adabra

Dr. Kodjo Adabra is an assistant professor of French and the campus director of the summer program in Senegal.  His primary research deals with Francophone sub-Saharan literatures of post-colonial Africa, as well as identity and trends in African diasporic literatures, with a particular focus on the works of Cameroonian author Mongo Beti and Togolese playwright and novelist Kossi Efoui.  He also researches sociolinguistic issues in African languages.  Dr. Adabra is a published novelist: L’exilé (Nice: Syracuse, 2007), Identité (Nice: Syracuse, 2008).  In addition, he is a reviewer for the post-graduate electronic journal, E-pisteme, a publication of Newcastle University, UK.
