In order to be considered for need-based financial assistance at Geneseo, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). You must file your FAFSA electronically at as soon as possible after January 1 of the year you wish to enter college.

Beginning in early March, the College will receive the results necessary to create your financial aid award. If you are admitted to the College, an award notice will then be sent to you shortly after you receive your letter of admission, indicating the amount of aid you can expect to receive from Federal, campus-based, and Stafford Loans, as well as Pell Grant and the Tuition Assistance Program.
