While we welcome your visit during any of our regularly scheduled tour times, we recognize that as a transfer student, you may have questions specific to your particular situation, including the application process, transfer of your credit, financial aid, or detailed academic information. While you can get this information during any of our regularly scheduled tours, we have set aside a few times every week just for you!
Tours and group information sessions for transfer students are offered every Friday at 1:00pm.
At these sessions, a transfer admission counselor will provide detailed information about the application process and will be available to address your specific concerns. For details, and to schedule your day, visit our Tours and Events Calender.
Tours of the Geneseo campus are available Monday - Friday and on most Saturdays throughout the year. Tours are accompanied by an information session with an Admissions Counselor. The tour is a walking tour which lasts approximately 90 minutes. Feel free to arrive 10-15 minutes before your scheduled tour time to enjoy light refreshments. Please dress comfortably and wear walking shoes to handle the small hills on our campus! Your tour guide will be a current student at Geneseo and a member of the Geneseo Ambassador program. You are welcome to bring as many family members as you would like on the tour; we would be happy to host you. To arrange a tour call the Admissions Office toll free at (866) 245-5211; or register yourself online through our Admissions Tours and Events Calendar.
The College offers tours on most Saturdays throughout the year; with 3 Saturdays dedicated to you! Please call the Admissions Office or check the Admissions Tours and Events Calender for designated days and times. You should be aware that no personal interviews are available on Saturdays. The Admissions Office will be open at 9:00am on Saturday tour days; otherwise the Admissions Office is closed on weekends. Information packets and self-guided tours are available in either Milne Library or the University Police office should you visit when our office is not open.
