Please indicate what days and times you would like a tutor for the AMERICA READS program below. Please indicate all times in which an America Reads tutor could work one-on-one or in a small groups on reading or literacy skills. These may include after school times as well. All tutoring needs to take place in a supervised setting. Please note that the program is most effective when tutors work somewhat consistently with the same student or students. This may or may not occur during your scheduled Language Arts times. Also, we cannot guarantee the availability of a tutor, so please be as flexible as possible with your chosen times. Please include any special requests or notes.

Please indicate all times in which an America Counts tutor could work one-on-one or in a small groups on math skills. These may include after school times as well. All tutoring needs to take place in a supervised setting. Please note that the program is most effective when tutors work somewhat consistently with the same student or students. This may or may not occur during your scheduled Math times. Also, we cannot guarantee the availability of a tutor, so please be as flexible as possible with your chosen times. Please include any special requests or notes.

Tutoring assignments will be made as soon as possible in the new semester. Returning tutors may start back any time. New tutors will need to attend orientation before beginning in the schools. Your tutor(s) will be contacting you. Please take the time to have an initial meeting with your tutor to discuss classroom expectations and to provide an orientation to your classroom and the school. We also strongly encourage you to keep consistent communication with your tutor throughout the semester. This can be done in person, over the phone, or via e-mail. Continuing feedback and communication is vital to the program's success. Thank you!
