- Additional English Requirement: at least 15 hours must be taken at the 300 level.
- Note that the new major DOES NOT fulfill the requirements for New York State Provisional teaching certification in English. An additional 6 hours of English electives must be completed by those seeking certification. While there is currently no certification in Theatre, the projected date for certification in theatre to begin is 2003.
Minimum Competency Requirement
- A grade of C- or better is required for all Theatre and English courses offered in fulfillment of the major
