Brockport, N.Y. – Host Brockport (7-4, 2-2
SUNYAC) held off a late rally by Geneseo (7-4, 3-1 SUNYAC) in State University
of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) men’s basketball action Tuesday. The
loss was Geneseo’s first in conference action.
Junior forward Jordan Jones (Rochester/McQuaid Academy) scored a season-high 27
points to lead the Knights. He made eight of his 12 shots from the floor and
converted 11 of 14 free-throw attempts.
Junior guard Connor Fedge (Bellport/Bellport) came off the bench to score 18
points and junior guard Thomas Decker (White Plains/Archbishop Stepanic) netted
10 points (one shy of his career high).
Decker also led Geneseo with four assists. Sophomore forward Devon Anderson (Plattsburgh/Beekmantown)
pulled down a career-best eight rebound, in just 10 minutes of play, to lead
the Knights.
The Knights continue SUNYAC action Friday, hosting Plattsburgh.
