The Ira S. Wilson Award is presented to the male student-athlete who has had the most outstanding athletic career. Costanza earned NCAA Division III Goalie of the Year and first team All-America in 2010 and was an honorable mention All-America selection in 2009 by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association. He has a career record of 28-5 in goal in three seasons for the perennial nationally-ranked men's lacrosse team since transferring from Monroe Community College. He earned first team All-SUNYAC and All-ECAC in 2009 and 2010 and was a pre-season third team All-American in 2010. He has a miniscule career goal against average of 7.46 and a stout career save percentage of .600. Costanza participated in the USILA North-South Senior All-Star game and is just the second Blue Knight to earn first team All-America in men's lacrosse.
