Plattsburgh, N.Y. – The Geneseo men’s basketball team (14-9, 10-6 SUNYAC) lost 84-62 to host Plattsburgh (15-7, 11-4 SUNYAC) Saturday in a State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) game.

Sophomore forward Gordon Lyons (Amherst/Canisius) scored a game-high 14 points and led Geneseo with six rebounds. Senior forward Ryan Riefenhauser (Dobbs Ferry/Dobbs Ferry) added 13 points, three rebounds and three steals.

Sophomore forward James McKenna (Huntington/St. Anthony’s) scored 11 points and matched a personal best with four assists. Junior guard Connor Fedge (Bellport/Bellport) added eight points and a career-best seven assists.

The Knights make their final road trip of the regular season Friday, playing an 8 p.m. game at Fredonia.
