Vieth, the winner of the Louise Kuhl Award for outstanding career contribution by a female student-athlete established herself immediately as the top player in the SUNYAC conference as a sophomore after transferring from Nova Southeastern University by winning the first singles titles in 2009, duplicating the first singles win in 2011 and playing on the SUNYAC-winning first doubles team in 2009 and 2011, leading the Blue Knights to the SUNYAC team championship in each of those seasons. She is a two-time first team All-SUNYAC choice, earned second team All-SUNYAC in 2010 and has been the MVP of the women's tennis team each of her three seasons. This week, she will lead her Blue Knights at the NCAA Division III National Championship tournament for the second time in her three seasons and next year, the biology major with a 2.93 grade point average will begin taking course work in optometry at the University of Buffalo.
