CoSIDA All-District Academic Team

Junior forward Ian Mort (Rochester/McQuaid) was named to the ESPN College Division Men's Soccer All-Academic District I First team by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

Members of the first team from each district are put forward to the national ballot for CoSIDA Academic All-America consideration.

Off the playing field, Mort holds a 3.64 grade point average in biology, is a two-time member of the SUNYAC All-Academic team and member of the SUNYAC Commissioner's List.

On the field, he was the 2008 SUNYAC Men's Soccer Rookie of the Year and a second team All-SUNYAC selection and in 2010, he led the Blue Knights in scoring with 10 goals and two assists for 20 points.
