SUNYAC Spring Scholar-Athletes

The State University of New York Athletic Conference announced the winners of the SUNYAC Scholar-Athlete awards for the spring season and Geneseo claimed one of the seven awards, given to the member of their respective All-SUNYAC first or second team with the highest grade point average.

Sophomore Katie Roberts, who finished third of 19 riders on the flat in the Open Equitation at the IHSA National Championships on May 8, claimed the honor for women's equestrian, her first SUNYAC Scholar award.

Geneseo has won 48 of the 156 awards (30.8%) conferred since inception in 2003-04.
