Junior Kayla DeAngelis scored two goals and one assist to lead the visiting Geneseo women's field hockey team past the Hamilton Continentals (0-10), 4-0. Geneseo converted twice in each half as junior Kerry Hosford opened the scoring with her fourth goal of the season on an assist from DeAngelis at 6:34. DeAngelis scored unassisted at 27:47 and netted her team-high eighth of the year from first year Elena Hingston at 40:30. In the second half, first year Lorelei Morrow collected her first career goal on an assist from Hosford at 54:40 to complete the scoring. Geneseo collected 25 shots to just six for Hamilton and the Blue Knights won the corner battle, 10-4. First year Dayna Mercer went untested in 61:10 to earn the win, while senior Caitlyn Dowell played the final 8:50 without facing a shot on goal. Geneseo moves to 8-4 on the season and hosts Washington & Jefferson on Sunday at 12 p.m.
