Shenandoah, Texas – Geneseo swimmers earned all-America
honors in two events during Thursday’s competition on the second day of the
NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships.
Sophomore Abby Max (New Hartford/New Hartford) placed 16th in the 200-yard

was making her second straight appearance at nationals in the event after
placing 20th a year ago.
Max also anchored Geneseo’s 400-yard medley relay team, which earned all-America
honors by placing ninth in a school-record time of 3:50.58. The team of sophomore

finished 13th in the preliminaries.
