Senior Lee Berube was named the SUNYAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week, senior Alyssa Smith earned SUNYAC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week and senior Kelly Bergin claimed SUNYAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week as announced by the State University of New York Athletic Conference on Monday, September 19.
Berube won the Penn State individual title in leading Geneseo to the team championship, Smith placed 11th at Penn State to help the Knights to a third place team finish and Bergin scored the game-winning goal in the win over Nazareth on Wednesday and assisted on the game-winner versus Westminster on Sunday.
In addition, the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) tabbed Bergin as the ECAC Division III Upstate Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week and Berube as the ECAC Division III Upstate/Metro Men's Runner of the Week.

On the heels of their win at Penn State, the SUNY
Geneseo men's cross country team advanced one spot to #1 in the Atlantic Region. The
women's cross country team maintained their #1 ranking in the Atlantic
Region poll as announced on Tuesday, September 20 by the United States
Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. The USTFCCCA National Poll will be released on Wednesday,
September 21.
The
women's soccer team maintained their #6 ranking in the Division III East Region poll as
announced on Tuesday, September 20 by the National Soccer Coaches
Association of America. Geneseo's men's team fell out of the poll after the 1-0 loss to Medaille on Sunday.
