GENESEO, N.Y. – The Geneseo women’s cross country team has been named an
All-Academic Team by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country
Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) and two Knights were named to the USTFCCCA
All-Academic Team.
All-Academic Team recognition is awarded to teams whose members compile a
grade-point average of at least 3.10. Geneseo’s 3.49 team GPA was the program’s
highest ever and the highest recorded by a State University of New York
Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) team.
Junior Mary Aldridge (Rochester/Brighton) and senior Cailin Kowalewski
(Fredonia/Fredonia) were named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team, which honors individuals
with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.30 and finish in the top 35 at the NCAA
Regional Championships. Aldridge finished 31st at the regional meet and
Kowalewski was 16th.
