GENESEO, N.Y. – The Geneseo women’s soccer team was recently won its fifth consecutive Team Ethics/Sportsmanship Award from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. The Knights earned a gold medal award for going the entire season without being issued a red or yellow card; only eight women’s teams at any level of college soccer were honored with a gold award.

Geneseo, who received the program’s first gold award in 2009, also earned a Team Academic Award for the seventh season in a row. The Knights are one of just four teams in the country to earn both awards this year.
