Dean's Student Advisory Board Members
Rachel Berryman (2015) is a junior Economics and International Relations double major with a minor in French. In addition to DSAB, she is a Student Director of the Society for Opportunities in Business (formerly the Society for Women in Business), and is also a Resident Assistant and International Student Mentor in Steuben Hall. She is very interested in economic and political development as well as international economics. In her free time, Rachel enjoys horseback riding, traveling and reading.
William Carey is a sophomore Accounting major. In addition to being a member of the DSAB, William is a member of the Finance Club as well as the Baseball Club. In his free time William enjoys sports, the outdoors and working.
Kristen Corbisiero is a senior from Holtsville, NY, a town on Long Island. She is completing her undergraduate education studying both business administration and communication. In addition to being a member of the DSAB, Kristen is Public Relations Chair for the Society for Opportunity in Business, a member of the Beta Eta Chapter of Lambda Pi Eta the communication honor society, the apparel coordinator and member of Knightline, the Geneseo Dance Team, and also a member of Orchesis the Geneseo dance club. With a strong interest in branding and copywriting, her professional goals include working in an elite advertising firm in Manhattan. When she is not studying or dancing, Kristen can be found cooking, writing, working out in the gym or singing and strumming a guitar with friends.
Mike Hoernig is a senior from Williamsville, NY who recently moved to Southern California. Mike is majoring in Business Administration with a strong interest in Marketing. He is a member of the professional business fraternity Alpha Kappa Psi and Economics Society. In his spare time he enjoys watching Mad Men, collecting vinyl records, and attending concerts.
Ashley Jones is a junior Accounting major with a Philosohphy minor. Aside from serving on the Dean’s Student Advisory Board, she is the Associate Administrative Manager for the GOLD Program, a Resident Assistant in Allegany Hall, Student Director of the Klainer Center for Women in Business and sister of Sigma Kappa Sorority. In her free time she also enjoys running and traveling.
Andrew Maung is a senior Business Administration major from Long Island, New York. He is involved in the finance club, international business club, and was the President of the Sigma Tau Psi fraternity. Andrew enjoys Motown music, basketball, golf, and the New York Knicks. In the future, he looks to pursue careers in either marketing or finance.
Alexandra Romanowski is a senior Business Administration major with an International Relations minor from Buffalo, NY. In addition to serving on DSAB, Alex is a student director for The Society for Opportunity in Business, a member of Sigma Kappa Sorority, Orchesis Dance, and is a member of College Republicans. Alex enjoys running and has been a ballerina since the age of four.
Melissa Schneider is a sophomore from Gloversville, NY majoring in Accounting. In addition to serving on the DSAB she is the Class of 2016 Treasurer and is a member of the Accounting Society and Society for Opportunities in Business. She plans on pursuing a career in Forensic Accounting. In her free time, Melissa enjoys playing soccer, listening to music, and traveling.
Lauren Shepherd is a junior from Syracuse, NY. She is currently an Accounting and Communications double-major and is interested in pursuing a career in public accounting after graduation. In addition to the Dean's Student Advisory Board, Lauren also serves on the executive board of Society for Opportunities in Business and Geneseo Marketing Association and is an active member of Accounting Society. Lauren's interests include reading, snowboarding and fitness.
