An interview is a conversation.  Ideally, it’s a mutually informative dialogue from which both parties benefit. As the candidate, you should use the interview as an opportunity to communicate your background and experiences and show why you’re qualified for the job (or internship).  The interviewer will use the conversation to see if you meet the basic requirements of the position and to get a sense of whether you’re the right “fit” for the role, which can be just as important as whether you meet the job’s basic requirements.
