Winter Break Alumni/Parent Shadow Program

How the Program Works

• Students will receive in mid-November an email containing a list of available shadow opportunities (compiled from your responses) and a preferences form that must be completed and returned to us by November 23, indicating their top three shadowing preferences.

• Career Development staff will “match” student preferences with available opportunities.

• Alumni/parent shadow hosts and students will each be notified if a match has been made. Hosts will receive their student shadow’s name and contact information, and students will receive contact information for their shadow host.

• In early to mid-December, students will contact their shadow hosts to arrange a mutually convenient day and time between January 14 and January 18, 2013 for their shadowing experience.
