No need to wait for an appointment with a professional staff member!  The Peer Career Advisors havre returned and are ready to assist with resume and cover letter reviews as well as basic resources for your internship search. Have you seen the Career Mobile around campus? If not you should stop on by to check it out! The Career Mobile will be out and about in the campus community the first and last Wednesday of the month from 12-2pm! The Career Mobile will offer the same drop in services including resume and cover letter reviews as well as basic internship resources. You may also come across some sweet treats as well!

Brittany, Class of 2015

Brittany is a Senior Psychology major and a Human Development minor from Franklin, NY. She is entering her second year as a Peer Career Advisor and is very excited to continue helping students with resumes, cover letters and internship advisement. She hopes to increase campus outreach so more people can know about all the career resources available to them! She is also involved as a tour guide for the Office of Admissions, and Secretary of the Pep Band. Additionally, Brittany spends time as a research assistant for Dr. Katz and is also a member of NRHH.


Dan, Class of 2015

Dan Foley entered SUNY Geneseo as a transfer student in the fall 2013 semester. Dan is an American Studies Major and a Political Science Minor, and plans to graduate in May 2015. Before working as a PCA, Dan interned for Congressman Chris Collins and The Livingston County Development office. In addition to being a PCA, Dan is the Public Relations Chair for the Geneseo College Republicans. Dan's main interests include Sports and Politics. He one day hopes to start a career in commercial Real Estate, politics or sales.



Paul, Class of 2014 (Anticipated December Grad)

Paul is a senior who will be graduating with a BS in Biology in December 2014. Although he aspires to become a Medical Doctor, Paul hopes to continue doing research in Genomics & Cancer. His love for research stems from his most recent opportunity at the University of Pennsylvania where he worked in a lab conducting de novo whole genome sequencing methods. As a Peer Career Advisor, Paul is confident his guidance will help students be well suited for the world outside of Geneseo, and he looks forward to helping all students. His goals as a PCA are to ease the anxiety of students and help each and every student feel more confident with their credentials.


Amber, Class of 2015

Amber is a Senior Biochemistry major with a mathematics minor. At Geneseo she is involved in Phi Delta Epsilon Medical Fraternity and was one of the founding members. Additionally, Amber is also involved in Intervarsity Christian Fellowship and the Community Health Alliance. Amber is currently applying to medical school with the plan of attending of these institutions in the year post graduation. This is her first year as a Peer Career Advisor and she is very excited to start helping her fellow classmates!
