Office of Career Development

 

Welcome to the SUNY Geneseo Office of Career Development - Division of Student and Campus Life.  You will find resources for job searching, resume and cover letter writing, graduate school planning, career self-assessments FOCUS and the Strong Interest Inventory, What Can I Do With This Major?, the placement file process, on-campus recruiting, and much more. 

  • To schedule an appointment with a Career Development Counselor call 245-5721 or stop by the office in Blake A 104.
  • OFFICE HOURS:  Monday - Friday, 8:00am-4:15pm, Wednesdays until 5:30pm.
  • DROP IN HOURS:  Drop in hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays 1:30-3:30pm (last sign up at 3:15pm); and Wednesdays 3:30-5:30pm (last sign up at 5:15pm).  
  • The Career Development Library is open during regular business hours providing hundreds of career and graduate school resources, 2 computers for student use and a quiet work area.

Curious about what to do with your major?  Looking for employer directories or graduate school guides?  Career Development Library has over 300 resources available for students to view in our office.  To view many of the books available, go to http://library.geneseo.edu and search GLOCAT by clicking on Call Number Begins With... and then typing Career Services Library.  You will see 295 of the items available in Blake A 104 and can even Search Within Results using keywords.  If you don't see what you're looking for, email Kerrie Bondi at bondi@geneseo.edu.
