We are looking for enthusiastic, customer-minded employees who like to work in a team environment.
All of our eight on-campus restaurants employ students and there are several different positions available, including:
Line Server ~ Grill Cook ~ Sandwich Maker
Kitchen Assistant ~ Cashier ~ Dishwasher
Catering Waitstaff ~ Student Supervisor
Student Manager ~ Barista
After you choose which location you would like to work, the manager of that restaurant or cafe can explain the job duties for each position and help determine which position would be best suited for you. Job duties and openings may vary between restaurants.
You control your schedule - you can decide to work as few as 4 hours a week, up to 20 hours per week. Like to work in the evenings? Don't want to work on weekends? No problem! You choose which shifts you want to sign up for based on your class and personal schedule.
CAS gives out up to $10,000 every year in student employee scholarships. To be eligible, a student employee must work a minimum number of hours per week during the fall semester and during the time the scholarship is awarded.
What could be better than working at a location right next door to your residence hall or your classes? Working for CAS means never having to clean the snow off your car in the winter to get to work and that the money you earn goes into your wallet, not your gas tank.
At the end of a semester, all student employees who have worked a minimum of 125 hours and have received a satisfactory evaluation will receive a $.20 per hour pay increase.
We offer advancement opportunities that offer management training and a higher pay scale. Even if you don't plan on pursuing a career in management or food service, customer service and supervisory skills look good on anyone's resume.
