Job Description

We are looking for enthusiastic, customer-minded employees who like to work in a team environment. All of our on-campus restaurants & cafés employ students, and there are several different positions available, including:

  • Line Server
  • Kitchen Assistant
  • Sandwich/Wrap/Salad Maker
  • Cashier
  • Dishwasher
  • Dining Room Attendant
  • Grill Cook
  • Starbucks Barista
  • Catering Waitstaff

After you choose which location you would like to work, the manager of that restaurant or café can explain the job duties for each position and help determine which position would be best suited for you. Job duties and openings may vary between restaurants & cafés.

Benefits

Flexible Hours & Shifts

You control your schedule—you can decide to work as few as two shifts a week, or up to 29 hours per week. Like to work in the evenings? Don't want to work on weekends? No problem! You choose which shifts you want to sign up for based on your class and personal schedule.

Scholarships

CAS gives out up to $10,000 every year in student employee scholarships. To be eligible, a student employee must work a minimum number of hours per week during the fall semester and during the time the scholarship is awarded. Learn more about Employee Scholarships.

On-Campus Work Environment

What could be better than working at a location right next door to your residence hall or your classes? Working for CAS means never having to clean the snow off your car in the winter to get to work and that the money you earn goes into your wallet, not your gas tank.

Management Training

CAS provides advancement opportunities, like management training, that make you eligible for higher-paying roles. Even if you don't plan on pursuing a career in management or food service, customer service and supervisory skills look good on anyone's resumé.
