About Us

The SUNY Geneseo cheerleaders are a group of energetic, athletic students who primarily support the men's and women's basketball teams. The team is now co-ed for the 2011-2012 season! In addition to cheering on other athletic teams, the cheerleaders also participate in organizations on campus and voluneer in many community service events. The cheerleading team is highly competitive and travels to various venues to exhibit their talent and skills. In previous years the team has competed at the All-Star Level 6. The team placed first in their division and earned the title of Grand Champions at the 2011 Titan Championships in Maryland. Also in 2011, the team received the Power Pyramid Award at Buffalo.

The team would like to thank their families and friends who have supported this program every step of the way. That support accompanied by the team's determination and passion for cheerleading has allowed this program to grow while earning the respect and attention it deserves.
