Each year, a group of students is selected to represent Geneseo in a host city during the week of Spring Break. As an extern, students spend the entire week learning from Geneseo alumni who have excelled in various professional careers. This year, externs will be gaining skills and insight in New York City.
Faculty and staff who know a student who can benefit from participating in the annual Geneseo Alumni Association's Externship Program are welcome to encourage students to apply to the highly competitive program. The program is open to students of all majors and career interests, however, students who are open to different career possibilities and/or think they want to work in a large city will benefit the most. The Alumni Association funds transportation and lodging costs. The deadline for applying is Oct. 8.
