The March 6 event is open to all students, staff and faculty and is filled with information and discussion with nationally known speaker Dorothy Edwards.
Edwards is founding director of the University of Kentucky's Violence Intervention and Prevention Center, and provides violence prevention trainings and consultation around the country. She focuses on building awareness and inspiring individuals to take action to make their communities safer.
