College says farewell to emeritus

Professor Emeritus Joseph Zaremba, who taught economics and management at Geneseo from 1970 until his retirement in 2000, died on April 13, 2011.

Prior to his appointment at Geneseo, Zaremba served on the faculties of SUNY College of Environment Science and Forestry, Hunter College and Fordham University. At Geneseo, he was involved in the creation of the School of Business in the 1970s. Zaremba's area of professional expertise was quantitative economics and he regularly taught econometrics, statistics, and production and operations management.
