The Princeton Review has again named Geneseo one of the nation's top 50 "Best Value" public colleges and universities.
"Geneseo's inclusion on this list and others like it affirms the strong emphasis our faculty places on undergraduate teaching and research," said Bill Caren, associate vice president for enrollment services at Geneseo. "Students and parents looking for that ‘best fit' college will find Geneseo very attractive to those looking for a strong academic program in a highly supportive environment."
The list is based on criteria covering academics, cost of attendance and financial aid. The methodology examined more than 30 factors using data from the company's surveys of administrators and students at 650 colleges with strong academic programs.
