Nine faculty members were recognized by members of the Geneseo Blue Knights women's and men's basketball teams on Jan. 24.
Last fall, student-athletes began selecting one professor who has influenced their growth and development. The faculty are invited to a home contest, take part in a pre-game introduction ceremony and are highlighted in a special game program insert.
Those most recently recognized by members of the women's team are:
- Professor Donald Marozas, School of Education,
- Instructional Support Associate Beverly Henke-Lofquist, Communicative Disorders & Sciences
- Associate Professor Lori Bernard, Languages and Literatures
- Professor Jeff Mounts, psychology
- Professor Susan Bandoni Muench, biology.
Those most recently recognized by the men's basketball seniors are:
- Assistant Professor George Marcus, physics
- Lecturer Tim Nolan, School of Business
- Professor Ray Spear, biology
- Professor and Chair William Lofquist, sociology.
