SUNY Chancellor Nancy Zimpher will discuss her personal theory of leadership during a Geneseo Opportunities for Leadership Development (GOLD) program workshop on Monday, Oct. 4, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in the College Union, room 114. She will share her experiences with the process of institutional transformation, as a former campus president and as leader of the nation's largest comprehensive public system of higher education. Anyone with a GOLD account may register and attend the workshop, and any faculty, staff or community member may establish a GOLD account.

Chancellor Zimpher will be in Rochester the morning of the workshop attending the annual conference of the College Student Personnel Association of New York.

"The previous chancellor did a GOLD workshop on our campus and Chancellor Zimpher graciously agreed to come to our campus and speak about transformational leadership and what she is doing to transform SUNY," says Tom Matthews, director of leadership education, development and training. "We look forward to her presentation."
