Women's basketball team wins SUNYAC title

Fans cheered and the players rushed off the bench to celebrate a victory in Geneseo athletics, as they became the new SUNYAC champs on Feb. 26.

The team defeated SUNY Oneonta 55-48 to win the SUNYAC Championship title and will compete in the National Athletic Conference national tournament.

It is the team's fourth SUNYAC title.
