Exit Counseling is MANDATORY for federal loan borrowers. However, you may choose the method of counseling, in-person or online. Failure to complete the Exit Counseling will result in a hold on your student record; meaning official academic transcripts and registration activity are blocked.

To prepare for the session, review your existing federal loan amounts via the National Student Loan Database System (NSLDS). Select "Financial Aid Review." You may wish to print or save this information for your records.
