Opening Reception: Thursday, January 26, 4 - 6 p.m.

From the Studio presents to the college community recent work by the studio art faculty,  textured ceramic floor lamps that can be installed indoors or outdoors by Carl Shanahan; metals artist Patrice Case is exhibiting hand-colored metalwork based on organic forms; new digital photographs by Michael Teres are cutting edge; Dan dezarn installed a sight specific towering tree with pouches of salt crystals that release their salts in a time release manner; Tom MacPherson exhibits several new oil based portraits in which he uses a renaissance style deeply colored background;  Lesile Stroz is exhibiting two charcoal portraits, Ryota Takemura  a mechanized hand and Cynthia Hawkins two recent paintings on paper. I hope that all of you will take this opportunity to visit the gallery to see this truly fine work by our colleagues.
