Every Geneseo student in the last 60 years or so — more than 50,000 — has lived with Campus Auxiliary Services, the not-for-profit company that operates independently of the college and delivers dining and a host of other services for students, faculty and staff. CAS has evolved from offering simple cafeteria-style meals to an operation with more than 500 employees that touches lives in surprising ways — providing services for cable TV, recycling, car rental, vending, campus catering, laundry, and operation of the Big Tree Inn.

Thousands of students have worked for CAS during their Geneseo experience.

Here is a look at what CAS is like on campus in 2013, followed by vintage images of years past.
