50 years of physics

In 1963, Geneseo launched the physics major with three majors, including Charles "Dutch" VanRy. He and other alumni and retired faculty returned to campus last August to celebrate the Department of Physics and Astronomy's 50-year anniversary at the college, which has grown to include nine faculty members and 220 student majors.
