This Eco-Leadership program will be an extension of and supplement to the Soaring Stars at Geneseo program, a six-week summer program for rural, low-income children (currently Kindergarten to grade 2) in western New York housed at the Charles G. May Center in Mount Morris, NY. The first project objective is to get kids outside and to connect with their families along with nature. The second objective is to provide children with the kinds of experiences that will develop a love of nature and a sense of wonder that will stand them in good stead throughout their lives.
