Description:
Geneseo's Summer Learning Program is a new six week, six-hour a day summer program for rural low-income students in grades Kindergarten to sixth grade created by the faculty and staff at Geneseo's nationally accredited Ella Cline Shear School of Education. Children will learn using art, music, traditional subject instruction, and physical activities to explore the world, using their individual an dthe group's interested in the environment and people around them. Geneseo faculty from the appropriate disciplines including education and psychology and their students will be engaged in planning, delivering, and assessing the summer program annually.
