EcoHouse and Writers House Application Instructions:

1.  Complete an EcoHouse or Writers House application by Friday, 2/17.  Unlike the suite selection process, you are welcome to apply to EcoHouse or Writers House individually.  (Note:  Provided that your application is approved, you will later be prompted to provide names of students with whom you wish to share a room or suite.)  Both applications are available from our Forms and Applications web page. 

2.  Pay your housing deposit by Friday, 2/17.  You can pay your deposit through your KnightWeb Student Menu or at the Student Accounts Office in room 103 of Erwin Hall.  For detailed instructions on how to pay your housing deposit, visit our Housing Deposit Payment Instructions web page.  (Note:  Residence Life may deny your application or otherwise penalize you if you neglect to pay your housing deposit by Friday, 2/17.)

3.  Submit a 2012 - 2013 Residential License Agreement Form by Friday, 2/17.  This form is also available on our Forms and Applications web page.

4.  You will receive e-mail notification about the outcome of your EcoHouse or Writers House application on Monday, 3/19.  Provided that your application is approved, you will need to confirm your desire to select a room in EcoHouse or Writers House through an online survey by Friday, 3/23. 

5.  If your application is approved and if you confirm your wish to live in EcoHouse or Writers House, you should plan to attend EcoHouse or Writers House Room Selection -- located in Putnam Hall and Seneca Hall, respectively -- on Wednesday, 4/4 or Thursday, 4/5.  (Exact dates, times, and locations will be available later.)  You will receive an e-mail notification about your EcoHouse or Writers House Room Selection time on Thursday, 3/29.

6.  If you are unable to attend EcoHouse or Writers House Selection at your specified time, you should ask a friend to select your room on your behalf, then complete a Housing Selection Proxy Form by Wednesday, 4/4.  Housing Selection Proxy Forms are available on our Forms and Applications web page.
