Suite Application Instructions:
1. Complete a suite application (only 1 application for each suite group
needed) by Friday, 3/23. The suite application is
available on our Forms and Applications
web page. In order for your suite application to be considered, you
must completely fill the suite for which you are applying (i.e., 6
students listed on a 6-person suite application, etc.).
2. Pay your housing deposit by Friday, 3/23. You can pay your deposit through your KnightWeb Student Menu or at the Student Accounts Office in room 103 of Erwin Hall. For detailed instructions on how to pay your housing deposit, visit our Housing Deposit Payment Instructions web page. (Note: Residence Life may deny your suite application or otherwise penalize your suite group if any group member neglects to pay their housing deposit by Friday, 3/23.)
3. Submit a 2012 - 2013 Residential License Agreement Form by Friday, 3/23. This form is also available on our Forms and Applications web page.
4. The Suite Captain for your group will receive e-mail notification about the outcome of your suite application on Monday, 4/9. Your Suite Captain will be responsible for informing group members about the status of your application.
5.
If your group is granted a suite for next year, the Suite Captain for your group will receive e-mail notification
about your Housing Selection date and time on Monday, 4/16.
6. Your Suite Captain should contact group members to determine if any are unable to attend Housing Selection during your group's assigned date and time. Your Suite Captain should complete Proxy Forms for group members who are unable to attend Housing Selection. Housing Selection Proxy Forms are available on our Forms and Applications web page.
7. If your group is not granted a suite for next year (this is most likely to happen with 8-person suite applications, since our number of 8-person suites is limited), you and your fellow group members will be able to split into separate suite groups (e.g., 4-person or 6-person groups) or choose corridor-style rooms instead. In this event, you will be asked to inform Residence Life about your intentions by 4:00pm on Thursday, 4/12.
