Retirement Programs
Membership in a retirement system is mandatory for all full-time employees appointed for more than three (3) months. Employees must complete a retirement application within 30 days from the date of employment.
Employees in the classified service bargaining units and employees represented by GSEU are eligible to join the New York State Local & Retirement System.
All employees in University Police Titles are eligible to join the New York State Police & Fire Retirement System.
