Basic reference questions can be handled any time the library is open.
A reference librarian is on duty in the Center for Academic Excellence to answer research questions during the hours listed below.
|Monday - Thursday||10:00 AM - 1:00 AM|
|Friday||10:00 AM - 3:00 PM|
|Sunday||5:00 PM - 1:00 AM|
During off-duty hours, questions can be handled at the Service Desk and/or referred to librarians working at their desks.
During summer sessions and college vacations, reference librarians are on duty from 10:00 AM until close.
Any time the IM a Librarian logo is lit green, a reference librarian is monitoring research questions that arrive via chat. The logo can be found from many areas of the library's website.
Our email reference service is great for factual information, verification of holdings, checking for citations and quick questions. Responses are generally within 24 hours, except on weekends and holidays.
